1948 - postwar reconstruction era

Soviet propaganda poster in the visual idiom of Konstantin Ivanov circa 1948, celebrating the R-1 - the Soviet Union's first rocket, a near-perfect copy of the German V-2 reverse-engineered from captured parts.
