1987-88 - Energia/Buran era

Soviet propaganda poster in the visual idiom of late-1980s Soviet poster art - more constructivist and graphic than earlier eras. Energia was the largest rocket the Soviet Union successfully flew. It launched twice in 1987-88, carrying the Polyus payload and the Buran shuttle, then was cancelled when the Soviet Union dissolved. Available as a print at sovietspaceprogram.com.
