# Soviet Space Program

> Independently researched educational resource on the history of the Soviet space program, 1948–1991, with detailed pages on cosmonauts, rockets, spacecraft, design bureaus, historical context, and cultural impact. Primary sources cited inline on every page (RKK Energia, NPO Energomash, Khrunichev, NASA, RussianSpaceWeb, Astronautix, ESA archives).

The site is content-first and free to read. An integrated print shop sells original Soviet-style propaganda posters of the program's milestones (Sputnik, Gagarin, Voskhod, Soyuz, Apollo-Soyuz, Mir, Energia, Angara, Soyuz-5, and others) printed on archival giclée matte paper. Posters are inspired by — not reproductions of — period archival posters.

Data infographics on the site are intended to be embedded and cited by other publications. They are released under permissive image-license terms (see individual ImageObject schema on each infographic page).
